I didn't want to go to boarding school at first, but St. Scholastica became incredibly special to me. I made life-long friends, learned Spanish, and had an overall life-changing experience. It was very sad to me to see that that school had closed, and even sadder to see it slip into disrepair. I am thrilled by the idea that the property might be revived, and that this nice little town might be graced by something other than its numerous prisons.
